For the Monotype ‘Freedom, Law and Order’ brief I have chosen to demonstrate the tension between graffiti and efforts to remove graffiti.

This piece incorporates grey pixelated forms that are created as the battle between what graffiti writers would call exercising their freedoms and efforts to keep walls neutral, this neutrality is signified with the use of the phrase ‘Nothing to see here’ rendered by hand in Helvetica, a typeface known for its government cooperate and associations with order, stability and general invisibility.
